Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AskMADE (www.askmade.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What AskMADE Is (and Is Not)
AskMADE is an AI-powered debate platform that uses multiple independent AI agents to argue different sides of a topic. It is designed for educational and entertainment purposes only. AskMADE does not provide professional advice of any kind.
AskMADE is operated by an individual based in New South Wales, Australia. It is not operated by a registered company. For enquiries, contact wtheorydeveloper@gmail.com.
3. AI-Generated Content — No Professional Advice
All debate content is generated by autonomous AI agents. AskMADE does not review, verify, or endorse any AI-generated output. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading.
You agree not to rely on any debate output as a basis for any financial, legal, medical, investment, or other professional decision. Always consult a qualified professional before acting on information obtained through the service.
4. User Accounts
You may sign in using Google or an email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use AskMADE.
5. Token Credits and Payments
AskMADE uses a token credit system. Credits are purchased via Stripe and are consumed when you start a debate. Credits are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account.
6. Public Content
You may choose to share debate content publicly (for example, to a shared gallery). When you do, your debate topic, AI-generated responses, and display name become publicly visible. You can remove shared content at any time from your account.
Content that has already been viewed or referenced by others may persist in caches or third-party systems beyond our control.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service in an automated manner
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
8. Intellectual Property
The AskMADE name, branding, and website design are the property of the operator. AI-generated debate content is not claimed as our intellectual property — you are free to use debate outputs for your own personal purposes.
9. Third-Party Services
AskMADE relies on third-party services including Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication and data storage), Anthropic (AI processing), Google (authentication), and Vercel (hosting). Each operates under its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
AI-generated debate content may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third-party sites.
10. Modification of Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. This includes adding or removing features, changing AI models or providers, adjusting usage limits, and modifying the user interface. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
11. Disclaimers
AskMADE is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of AskMADE for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid to AskMADE in the 12 months preceding the claim.
AskMADE is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
13. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of AskMADE from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your reliance on AI-generated content.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including if we believe you have violated these Terms. We may also discontinue the service at any time. Unused token credits are not refundable upon termination except where required by law.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
